MCS Update | May 3



We are just a couple of weeks away from the conclusion of the school year. As we head down the final stretch, here are a few things you need to know.


Important Dates:

  • May 10: Upper School Awards and NHS (9:15 at MCS)

  • May 11- Night of Fine Arts (First Baptist Maryville at 7 PM)

  • May 13: Parent/Board Meeting (Celebrating 23-24, Vision for 24-25)

  • May 14-15: Senior Capstones

  • May 17: Senior Legacy Walk (9 AM At MCS)

  • May 18: High School Graduation (10 AM at First Baptist Maryville)

  • May 20: Kindergarten Graduation (9:30 at MCS)

  • May 21: 1st - 5th Grade Field Day (Abbreviated day for Lower school)

  • May 21: 1st - 5th Award Night (First Baptist Maryville at 6:30 PM)

  • May 21-22: Upper School Capstones (Abbreviated Day for Upper School)

  • May 25- June 1: Senior Missions Trip to Guatemala

Teacher Appreciation Week: Next Week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Thanks to all of you who brought in gifts to thank your child's teachers - we will have fun celebrating them each day!


Night of Fine Arts: Join us for a night of fine arts as we showcase our upper school artists and musicians! Saturday, May 11, we will have an art exhibit, a choir concert, and a band concert at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Maryville.


Capstones: Senior capstones are May 14-15. Capstones for 6th-11th grade students are May 21-22. Please remember that these are mandatory attendance days. Students who are not present for their capstones will receive a zero. In cases of illness or family emergency, please contact our Academic Dean at dana.wallace@mcstn.org to make arrangements.
