"Unlike most other sports, tennis is a sport for a lifetime. Most of my players have never picked up a racquet, so to watch them grow in this sport is very rewarding and I hope they will continue to play as adults. I also enjoy teaching my players how we can glorify God through hard work, commitment, and good sportsmanship.”

Coach Kyle Davidson is in his fourth-year coaching tennis at Maryville Christian. Coach Davidson is also the head of grounds and maintenance at MCS. He has an extensive playing career where he was ranked top ten in the state of Mississippi in Boys’ Singles. He was also a 4-time Singles district Champion. Coach Davidson is married to his wife Tanya Davidson who is also his Assistant Coach. He has a daughter named Bailey who is on the High School tennis team and a dog named Wimbledon.
