STUDENT SUPPORT

We recognize all students learn differently.  In order to reach all students we provide several different programs in support of the general curriculum while striving for excellence.

Individual Accommodation Plans

Eligibility and Evaluation

Students must complete an external psychoeducational
evaluation by a licensed educational psychologist to qualify for
academic support services. This evaluation helps our
interventionist identify appropriate interventions, classroom
strategies, and testing accommodations.

For our youngest learners (Kindergarten and 1st grade), formal testing may not be developmentally appropriate. If significant concerns arise, our Intervention Director will work closely with families to assess needs and develop a preliminary accommodation plan. Educational evaluations must be updated every three years to remain valid.

Individualized Accommodation Plans

Students who qualify for support services will receive a personalized plan created by the Director of Intervention. Each plan includes:

  • Documented diagnosis and areas of concern

  • Classroom and testing accommodations

  • Additional needs

Accommodation plans are reviewed annually with the Intervention Director and follow the student as they advance through each grade level.

Medical Diagnoses and Accommodations
Students with medically diagnosed conditions (such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, visual or hearing impairments, and other health-related challenges) may qualify for accommodations without a full psychoeducational evaluation. Our intervention director will make recommendations for classroom and testing accommodations as needed.

Learning Enrichment Activities Program (L.E.A.P.)

The Learning Enrichment Activities Program (L.E.A.P.) offers qualifying students an engaging educational
experience that emphasizes real-world problem-solving, inquiry-based learning, and the cultivation of critical
thinking skills. By exploring in-depth projects beyond the traditional classroom, logical game-based learning,
and hands-on activities, students are encouraged to explore their passions and creativity, working
independently or collaboratively in small groups.

By participating in L.E.A.P., students not only enhance their academic abilities but also develop social and
emotional skills that promote active learning and personal growth beyond the classroom experience.
