Mrs. Ailey holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Phoenix and is beginning her third year at MCS. She and her husband, Brian Sr., have a son, Brian Jr., who is in sixth grade here a MCS. The Ailey family attends Laurel Bank Baptist Church, where they are active in Sunday School, Children's Church, and VBS. Mrs. Ailey's favorite thing about MCS is the peacefulness and joy that they experience here. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Mrs. Browning has been a part of the MCS family for 22 years. She completed high school in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Orange County Vocational Tech, where she received certification as a dental assistant. She and her husband, Frank, have two daughters; Amelia and Jessica. Mrs. Browning's favorite things about MCS are the discipleship-based education and the students. Her favorite scripture can be found in Zephaniah 3:17: "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing."
Mrs. Cable received a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, and this is her first year on staff at MCS. She and her husband, Anson, have two boys here at MCS; A.J. in 10th grade and Cason in 2nd grade. The Cable family calls Sevier Heights their church home. Mrs. Cable's favorite thing about MCS is the feeling of unity here, and that it's all about HIM! Her favorite verse is Psalm 11:7: For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.
Mrs. Coppedge holds a B.S. in elementary education from Tennessee Wesleyan and a master's from Tennessee Tech. She began her teaching career in 1995 and joined MCS in August, 2006. She and her husband, Archer, have 2 daughters. Leslie is a recent graduate of MCS as part of the class of 2017, and Maggie is a junior at MCS. Mrs. Coppedge's favorite thing about MCS is the relationships that are formed with families as they partner with teachers to educate their children in God's truth. Mrs. Coppedge and her family attend River Oaks Community Church and her favorite verse of scripture is found in Psalm 121:1-2: "I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

Mrs. Cox is a graduate of Roane State Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was with the Blount County School Special Education Preschool Program for 13 years prior to coming to MCS in 2017. Mrs. Cox is an active member of Marble Hill Baptist Church in Friendsville, where she is the VBS Director and is a 1st and 2nd grade teacher. She and her husband, Jeff, have a son, Nate. Her favorite scripture verses are Phillipians 4:11-13: I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength; and Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Mrs. Damron holds a B.A. in elementary education from Maryville College and has been teaching at MCS for 8 years. She and her husband, Mike, have three children, Patrick, Paige, and Preston. Mrs. Damron loves the family atmosphere at MCS and the ability to teach with a Biblical emphasis. Mrs. Damron and her family are members of Victory Baptist and her favorite verses of scripture are found in Hebrews 12:1-2: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God"; and 1 John 3:18: "Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."

Mrs. Evans holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Maryville College. She has been a teacher at MCS since 2007 and enjoys the ability to freely celebrate the love of Christ. She and her husband, Jeff, have five children, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. The family attends Covenant Baptist Church of Blount County of which they are founding members. Mrs. Evans earned a B.A. degree from Furman University and has been a part of Maryville Christian School since it's earliest beginnings, in several different capacities, including as a founding family, board member, tutor, and now a teaching assistant. Mrs. Evans and her husband, John (our maintenance director), have two children; Jessica, who graduated from MCS in 2015, and Connor, a 2018 MCS graduate. The Evans family are founding members of Covenant Baptist Church of Blount County. Mrs. Evans' favorite thing about MCS is our history, and her favorite scripture verse is 1 Peter 4:7-11: "The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."
Mrs. Felty holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Tennessee Tech and has taught a K-1 STEM class prior to coming to MCS in 2016. She and her husband, Austin, are active members of West Maryville Baptist Church. Mrs. Felty enjoys movies, music, theatre, guitar, and crafting. Her favorite thing about MCS is the loving, Christian atmosphere. Mrs. Felty's favorite scripture is Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Mrs. Fiebig is beginning her 8th year at MCS and she holds a bachelor's degree from Truman University and a master's degree from Northern Illinois University. She and her husband, Fritz, have two children, Grace and Lukas. The family attends Grace Community Church. Mrs. Goins has been a part of the MCS family for several years as a parent and substitute teacher, and she is currently a 6th grade teacher. Mrs. Goins has a B.S. from Carson Newman College and a M.A in education from Johnson University. She and her husband, Stephen, have two children, Kennedy and Nathan, who are both MCS students. The family attends Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Goins loves that God's word is the authority in all things at MCS, and her favorite scripture is found in Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Mrs. Jacobs holds a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Education from the University of Tennessee. She had 9 years of teaching experience before joining MCS in 2013. She and her husband, Doyle, have two children; Madison, a 2016 graduate of MCS, and Grant, who is a senior at MCS. Mrs. Jacobs and her family are members of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. James 1:6 is her favorite verse: "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."

Ms. Johnson is a graduate of Johnson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling, a minor in Biblical Theology, and a Master of Education degree in Education. This is Ms. Johnson's second year at MCS, where her favorite things about our school are that it feels like a family, we are very welcoming and caring, and we care about your story. Prior to teaching at MCS, she was a missionary for 10 years - most of that time was in Japan. She attends Maryville Vineyard church and her family includes her parents, 3 sisters, one brother, two nephews, and a niece. Ms. Johnson's favorite scripture verse is Isaiah 52:7: How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Mrs. Karnes holds a bachelor of science degree in human ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She joined the staff in February of 2016 and loves that the Lord is first in all things at MCS. Mrs. Karnes and her husband, Chris, have two children, Dade and Bella, who are students at MCS. She and her family attend Maryville Church of Christ, and her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Mrs. Knight holds a bachelor's degree from Johnson Bible College, a master's from the University of Tennessee, and is certified by ACSI. She began her teaching career in 1983 and has worked in both public and Christian schools. She joined the MCS family in September of 2014. She and her husband, Greg, have been married for 25 years, are members of Seymour Heights Christian Church, and they have a 23 year old son, Billy. Mrs. Knight's favorite thing about MCS is the family atmosphere. Her life verse is Psalm 121: 1-2: "I will lift my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? Mrs. McCroskey holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Western Governors University and she is beginning her 4th year working at MCS. She and her husband, Dennis, have been a part of the MCS family as parents for many years. They have three children, Miranda, Braden, and Seth (all MCS students), and they are active members of East Maryville Baptist Church. Mrs. McCroskey's favorite things about MCS are that her children are learning the Bible and the opportunities that students and families have to fellowship. Her favorite verse of scripture is found in Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

Mrs. McKee has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Tennessee Wesleyan College and a master's degree in elementary reading and math from Walden University. Prior to joining us this year at MCS, Mrs. McKee spent 18 years in the public school system teaching 4th and 5th grades. She and her husband, Curt, have three grown sons -- Jared, Jeff, and Josh. The McKee's home church is St. Mark's United Methodist in Louisville, where Curt is the pastor. Mrs. McKee's favorite thing about MCS is the famiily atmosphere and how God's Word is the primary authority in all things. Her favorite scripture verse is Isaiah 55:8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Ms. McMillan holds a B.S degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia, and an M.A. in Christian Studies from Bryan College. She has taught for six years before joining us here at MCS in 2017. Ms. McMillan attends New Macedonia Baptist Church and enjoys bluegrass, Dollywood, traveling, knitting, and studying God's Word. Her favorite thing about MCS is that the Lord is here, and her favorite scripture is the book of John.
Mrs. Moreno has been a teacher at MCS for 10 years and has a B.S. in elementary education from Pensacola Christian College. Her favorite thing about teaching at MCS is that she is able to share Christ every day. She and her husband, Myk, have three children; Jaeron, Kaedon, and Lorin, who are all MCS students. Mrs. Moreno's favorite verse of scripture is Mark 11:22: "And Jesus answering saith unto them; have faith in God."

Mrs. Morris holds a bachelor's degree in health education from the University of Tennessee and began her teaching career at MCS in 2013. Her favorite thing about MCS is sharing Jesus and teaching kids practical ways to walk with the Lord. Mrs. Morris and her husband, Neil, have two daughters who attend MCS; Melanie (8th grade) and Mabry (4th grade). The Morris' are a part of River Oaks Community Church. Mrs. Morris' favorite Scripture is Romans 8:28: "For all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."

Mrs. O'Brien is pursuing an associate in science degree in veterinary technology through Penn Foster. She and her husband, Arthur, have two children who are students at MCS; Egan (7th grade) and Quinlin (4th grade). The O'Brien family are active members of East Maryville Baptist Church. Mrs. O'Brien enjoys scrapbooking, crafting, reading, camping, and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing about MCS is that it is a family-oriented school that has one thing in common -- the love of Christ. Mrs. Patterson graduated from Carson Newman University with a bachelor of science degree in art education and special education, with graduate studies at the University of Tennessee and the University of Georgia. She joined MCS in 2016. She and her husband, Steve, have one son, Tyler, who lives in Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Patterson's favorite thing about teaching at MCS is being able to connect biblical themes to her art lessons and having the freedom to share and pray with students and staff. She and her husband attend Sevier Heights Baptist Church where she sings in the choir and works with several mission projects. Mrs. Pleasant has begun her 6th year as a teacher at MCS, and she has a bachelor's and master's degree in early childhood education from Auburn University. She and her husband, Jonathan, have one daughter, Emma, who is a student at MCS. Mrs. Pleasant loves the family atmosphere at MCS and the ability to live her faith "out loud." Mrs. Pollard received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Valley Forge. She also holds an associate's degree in Bible with a minor in youth ministry. This is Mrs. Pollard's third year at MCS, but she has prior teaching experience at other Christian schools. She and her husband, John, have 2 sons who are MCS students; Reed (3rd grade) and Ian (PreK5). Mrs. Pollard and her family attend Sevier Heights Baptist Church. She enjoys reading, traveling, "Pinteresting", being outside, spending time with family and friends, music and drama. Her favorite thing about MCS is that it is a family-friendly, God-loving school. Her favorite scripture is Hebrews 6:19: "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil."

Mr. Randolph received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, and Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. This is Mr. Randolph's second year at MCS, where his favorite thing is the opportunity to invest in young people's lives through mentoring and Christian education. His family includes his wife, Cindy, sons Timothy and Christian, and daughter Daelynn, who is a first grade student at MCS. Mr. Randolph's favorite verse is Isaiah 26:3: You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Mrs. Stebner holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, a master's degree in International Education, and is certified by ACSI. To work at MCS is a joy to her heart. Mrs. Stebner and her husband, Joe, served as missionaries at a school for missionary children in Europe. They have three adult children, Amy, Scott, and daughter-in-law Emily. God blessed them with their first grandson, Arlen Joe, last summer. Mrs. Stebner is a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stebner's favorite scripture is Psalm 103.

Mrs. Stewart is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 8 years of teaching experience. She holds a BS degree from MTSU and an MA degree from the University of Tennessee. Her favorite thing about MCS is feeling the Lord's presence in every aspect of MCS, as well as using and seeing the Lord's power at work. Mrs. Stewart and her husband, John, have two children at MCS: Kara (6th grade) and Thomas (2nd grade). The Stewarts are very active at Sevier Heights Baptist Church, where they lead the preschool children's worship each week. Mrs. Stewart's favorite scripture is Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

Mrs. Strickland holds a B.S. from the University of Montevallo and an M.S. in Special Education from Jacksonville State University. This is her fourth year at MCS and likes that the students and staff have been so welcoming. Mrs. Strickland and her husband, Lew, have four children; Jesse, Anna, Andrew (a 2016 graduate of MCS), and Kayla. The family attends Dotson Memorial Baptist Church and Mrs. Strickland relies on Philippians 4:4-9 as her favorite scripture: Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Mrs. Westerfield has a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from DePauw University and a master's in education from Johnson University. She is beginning her 7th year of teaching at MCS, and she is also the Director of the Elementary Fall Musical and the Choreography Director for the Spring Musical. She and her husband, Jonathan, have two children, Ruby and Gus who are both students at MCS. The family attends Mountain View Church of Christ where Jonathan is the Pastor.
