First Day Reminders | Aug 6

Tomorrow, August 7, is the first day of school. Please note the following reminders.

Drop-Off Times

PK-5th: 7:30 am – 8:00 am

6th-12th: 7:45 am – 8:15 am

Please Note the Following:

Students with siblings should be dropped off in the mornings at the drop-off time for the youngest sibling. Upper School students who are dropped off earlier with Lower School siblings will remain in the gym (supervised).

Parents should remain in their vehicles and allow the staff to help students out of their vehicles.

If you are unsure about the intended flow of traffic, please review THIS MAP.

Walking Students In: Only PK and Kindergarten parents will be allowed to walk their students in on the first day. Those planning to do this should park in the gravel lot behind the playground and use the path between the playgrounds to enter the side door of the lower school.

Faster transitions on the first day are the most helpful for students, so after a quick hug and picture, please leave your student with his/her teacher. They will be in good hands.

No Lunch the First Week: Lunch will not be served at MCS this week. Students will need to bring their own lunch each day. Milk purchases will be available. For this week only, students will need to bring money for milk. We will not be charging FACTS accounts until August 14.

Our regular lunch service will begin on Monday, August 14th. More information will be sent out this week about how to order lunches.

Pick-Up Times

PK -K: 2:30 pm

1st-5th: 3:00 pm

6th-12th: 3:25 pm

Please Note the Following:

Please have the car tag with your student's name visible.

Due to having multiple pick-up times, arriving too early will slow the flow of traffic. If you are in line for the wrong pick-up time, you will be asked to circle the building to get back in line.

Students with siblings should be picked up in the afternoons at the pick-up time of the oldest sibling. Lower School students who are being picked up later with Upper School siblings will remain in a supervised area.

Parents should remain in their vehicles and allow the staff to help students in their vehicles.

If you are unsure about the intended flow of traffic, please review THIS MAP.

We are excited to get this year started!
