1- Fall Break: Fall Break is only one week away. As a reminder, there will be no school the week of October 3rd.
2- Abbreviated Day: Friday, September 30th is an early dismissal day. Carline will operate as normal, but at the early dismissal times listed below.
Upper School carline (grades 7-12) will begin at 11:15.
Lower School carline (preK-6) will begin at 11:45.
Upper school students with lower school siblings will remain in the gym (supervised) until they are picked up during the lower school pick-up.
3- Upper School Service Days: Please remember that upper school students will be having their Community Service Days this next Wednesday and Thursday. Please review your email from the upper school office for information on project locations.
4- Lower School Ice Cream Social: The MCS Eagle Force will host an Ice Cream Social for MCS lower school families on Saturday, September 24th at 6:00 pm in the MCS gym. Come build an ice cream sundae with us and enjoy one last warm summer evening as we get to know each other.
The Crafted Jolt Coffee Truck with MCS’s own Greer family will be selling their own specialty ice cream and coffee drinks! This is a new feature they just unveiled, so join us as we help them roll this out!

5- $300,000 Matching Campaign for STEM: It's not often that you can have your donation to MCS automatically doubled. We have been blessed to have a donor offer a $300,000 matching donation. If we raise $300,000, the donor will give an additional $300,000. This means that every dollar you give is automatically doubled. Through the generosity of other MCS stakeholders, we have already raised a little over $100,000.
We have three mini-campaigns to help us meet this goal by the end of November, a STEM Naming Campaign, a General Sponsorship Campaign, and a Brick Paver Campaign. Click HERE to learn more or to give.
6- ATV for Athletics: The Athletic Department is looking to acquire an ATV or Gator-type vehicle to help with gameday prep and field maintenance. If you know of a vehicle like this that is available for purchase or know of someone we can contact, please reach out to the Athletic Department at athletics@mcstn.org.
