MCS Update | October 21

1- Spirit Night Fundraisers: Over the next several months we will have spirit nights at local restaurants that have agreed to give a percentage of their sales back to MCS.

The first Spirit Night will be at Salsarita’s in Alcoa on Thursday, October 27th. While they are running the promotion from 11:00-9:00, we are encouraging as many MCS families as possible to attend between 5:00 & 8:00. You must mention that you are with MCS for us to receive credit.

2- Grandparents’ Day/Veterans Day: Thursday, November 10th, will be a day to celebrate our grandparents. We will have breakfast finger foods and a short Veterans Day-themed program starting at 9:00 am. Doors to the gym will open at 8:30 am.

In observance of Veterans Day, there will be no school on Friday, November 11th.

3- Night of Worship: Come support our upper school choirs at our Night of Worship, on Friday, November 4th, at Partnership Christian Church. For more information, please contact Mr. Greer at scott.greer@mcstn.org.

4- Fall Play: The Fall Middle and High School play is “The Ransom of Red Chief” and will be performed at the Clayton Center Flex theater on Saturday, November 12, 7:00 pm. Tickets will be $20 each and will be available for purchase through the Clayton Center website beginning Monday, October 31.

5- Homecoming: The 2022-2023 MCS Homecoming will be on Friday, December 16th. This event will include food trucks, men’s and women’s basketball games, and a homecoming court at halftime of the men’s game.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out.

Have a great weekend.
