It has been great having students back on campus. As we start getting back into our routine, here are a few reminders.

January 15: NO SCHOOL for MLK, Jr. Day
January 23-24: Senior Retreat
January 25: PK-12 Preview Day (9:00 am)
February 16: NO SCHOOL for Parent-Teacher Conferences
February 19: NO SCHOOL for Presidents Day
February 29: PK-K Preview Day
March 8: PK-12th Grade Abbreviated Day
March 11-15: NO SCHOOL for Spring Break
No Lunch Provided on January 8th & 9th: All students will need to bring their lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Our regular lunch schedule will resume on Wednesday, January 10th.
Weather-Related Delays and Closures- As we head into the time of year when inclement weather is a possibility, we want to provide some information on how decisions are made to close or delay school. Please keep the following in mind:
- We do not necessarily follow the city or county schools’ decisions.
- Due to our high number of student drivers, we err on the side of caution.
- We try to make decisions by 8:00 pm for the next day. Sometimes the weather changes after a decision is made.
- We post decisions to close or delay on social media & TV news outlets (MCS will be listed by name). We also will send out a text and email alert.
