Tomorrow, Sept. 29, is an Early Dismissal Day:
The dismissal schedule will be as follows:
- 11:00 am: PK-K
- 11:30 am: 1st-5th*
- 11:50 am: 6th-12th*
*Arriving too early will slow down the pickup process.
Please note that there is no lunch or aftercare on Friday, Sept. 29.
Fall Break: Next week, October 2-6, is Fall Break. There is no school and the office will be closed.
Important Dates: Here are some important dates over the next couple of months.
Sept 29: Grandparents' Legacy event at Partnership Church (323 Partnership Pkwy. Maryville, TN 37801) We will start with coffee at 9 am, with a brief program to follow.
Sept 29: Abbreviated day of school for all students
Oct 2-6: NO SCHOOL for Fall Break
Oct 10: Grandparents' Coffee (10 am at Vienna)
Oct 14: Fall Play at the Clayton Center (7 pm)
Oct 19: PK-5th grade abbreviated day
Oct 19: Night of Worship featuring the MCS 6th-12th grade Choirs (6:30 pm at First Baptist Maryville)
Oct 20: NO SCHOOL for Parent/Teacher Conferences
Nov 4: Fall Festival sponsored by Eagle Force (PTO) (more info to come)
Nov 10: NO SCHOOL for Veterans Day
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Parent/Teacher conferences will be on October 19th and 20th. You will receive more information about how to sign up for a time within a few days.
Because of the conferences, our school schedule will be affected:
October 19 - Early Dismissal for PK-5th only
- 11:00: PK-K
-11:30: 1st-5th
October 20 - No School
Fall Play: The MCS Creative Arts department is proud to bring you "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” on Saturday, October 14, at the Haslam Flexible Theater at the Clayton Center for the Arts. The show begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. You will not soon forget this irreverent jaunt through Sherwood Forest!
