On May 25 - June 1, 2024, the senior class of Maryville Christian School will be traveling to Chichicastenango, Guatemala, and partnering with Samaritan Hands International.  Samaritan Hands is an international ministry that includes an orphanage and multiple church partnerships.  Our students will have the opportunity to serve the communities surrounding Chichi and share the love of Jesus Christ through a Bible club program in local schools and churches.

God's Word calls us to support those who are sent out in Jesus' name (3 John 1:5-8).  Scripture also encourages us to give cheerfully and not reluctantly (2 Corinthians 9:7-8).  Thank you for your interest and willingness to support these students as they serve Christ through this cross-cultural experience.  The flight costs $1,100 per person and their lodging, food, and insurance costs approximately $325 per person. There is also a budget of $900 needed for ministry supplies.

Your prayers would be the most impactful way you could support and encourage the students on this trip.  Please pray for the children and adults in Guatemala that they will meet and serve, the pastors and missionaries currently serving Christ in Guatemala, the unity and focus of the senior class as they prepare, and for each person's relationship with Jesus to grow stronger.
