MCS Update | April 19



Important Dates:

  • April 19: Prom for 9th -12th Grade

  • April 26-27: Spring Play (More Info Below)

  • May 10: Upper School Awards and NHS (9:15 at MCS)

  • May 11- Night of Fine Arts (First Baptist Maryville at 7pm)

  • May 13: Parent/Board Meeting (Celebrating 23-24, Vision for 24-25)

  • May 14-15: Senior Capstones

  • May 17: Senior Legacy Walk (9 AM At MCS)

  • May 18: High School Graduation (10 AM at First Baptist Maryville)

  • May 21: 1st - 5th Grade Field Day (Abbreviated day for lower school)

  • May 21: 1st - 5th Award Night (First Baptist Maryville at 6:30pm)


Dash and Dodge Recap: Thank you to everyone who helped volunteer or who gave to support MCS through our Dash and Dodge event. It was a great day. So far we have raised over $25,000 (with donations still coming in).


The winning teams (players only) and the highest fundraising teams have been awarded with a day off school on April 22nd. Those who won have received an email about the day off. If you and your student did not receive an email, they were not on the winning team.


Spring Drama Production: Maryville Christian School’s production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. will be Friday, April 26, at 7 pm, and Saturday, April 27, at 2 pm and 7 pm, at the Clayton Center for the Arts. Golden tickets are $25. For more information or to order tickets, please go to the Clayton Center for the Arts Website or call 865-981-8590.


Capstones: Senior capstones are May 14-15. Capstones for 6th-11th grade students are May 21-22. Please remember that these are mandatory attendance days. Students who are not present for their capstones will receive a zero. In cases of illness or family emergency, please contact our Academic Dean at dana.wallace@mcstn.org to make arrangements.
