Office & Support Staff

Mrs. Browning has been a part of the MCS family for 24 years. She completed high school in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Orange County Vocational Tech, where she received certification as a dental assistant. She and her husband, Frank, have two daughters; Amelia and Jessica. Mrs. Browning's favorite things about MCS are the discipleship-based education and the students. Her favorite scripture can be found in Zephaniah 3:17: "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing."

Mrs. Caldwell has a bachelor's degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary and has been with MCS for 14 years, where her favorite things are the kids -- they are a great group of students, and she loves getting to know them. She and her husband, Brent, have 5 children - Zack, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hannah, and Ben (MCS alumni). The Caldwells attend First Baptist Church of Friendsville. Mrs. Caldwell's favorite Scripture is Psalm 19:14: "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer."

Kyle Davidson joined MCS as a Maintenance Technician in 2017. He holds a psychology degree from the University of South Alabama, an Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design degree from the University of Tennessee, as well as a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech. He and his wife, Tanya, have been married since 2001 and have one child, Bailey, who attends MCS. They are members of Fairview United Methodist Church.

Laura Gribble joined MCS as the Administrative Assistant in the main office in 2018. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Pellissippi State. She and her husband have seven children, including Atticus, an MCS student, and Emily (Class of 2020). Mrs. Gribble and her family worship at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. One of her favorite verses is Colossians 3:17: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Mr. Holden joined MCS in 2020. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. He and his wife, Audra, have one child, Crew, and are active members of their church, Calvary Chapel Knoxville. One of his favorite verses in scripture is: 1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Mrs. Karnes holds a bachelor of science degree in human ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She joined the staff in February of 2016 and loves that the Lord is first in all things at MCS. Mrs. Karnes and her husband, Chris, have two children, Dade and Bella, who are students at MCS. She and her family attend Maryville Church of Christ, and her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Mary Elizabeth Murrell works in the main office as the assistant to the business office. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Minor in Sports Medicine with a Concentration in Athletic Training from Mars Hill University in North Carolina. She and her husband, John, were married in 2017. They have four children, Gentry (a 2019 MCS graduate) and Erin (a current MCS student), and Garrett and Landon. Her favorite verse of scripture is Philippians 4:13.
