Elementary Basketball includes grades 4th - 5th. Teams participate in the Blount County League. Regular season play begins in late October and extends through early December. Tournament is typically the first full week of December. Homeschool students are not allowed to participate in the elementary league.

Middle School Basketball includes grades 6th - 8th. Teams particpate in the Knoxville Independent School League. Regular season play begins in November and extends through January ending with a league tournament.

High School Basketball includes grades 9th - 10th. Regular season play begins in November and extends through February.

Requirements: All students must have a Sports Preparticipation Physical and Consent Form on file before they will be allowed to participate in any sport.  A $75 Athletic Fee is due before the first game.  An Athletic Department Particpation Packet must also be completed.Home school students under the MCS umbrella may participate in the event there are not enough players to field a team.  The Home school participation fee is $250.
