Dress Code Changes for 2010-2011
-
Students in grades Pre-K through 12th will be allowed to wear shirts with a collar as before OR MCS shirts (with or without a collar) Monday through Friday. Grades 4-12th may now wear all shirts un-tucked provided there is a shirt under it that is tucked in for purposes of modesty. Belts will still be required for these grades. Christian t-shirts may be worn on Fridays.
-
PE uniforms may not be worn as an MCS shirt.
-
MCS hooded sweatshirts (hoodies) or plain seatshirts with no writing or graphics will still be allowed.
This does not encompass the entire MCS Dress Code policy but highlights the changes for the new school year. Please be sure to refer to the Student-Parent Handbook for existing policy details.
For your convenience, we will have a full supply of MCS shirts with new designs and styles available for sale during orientation.
