Maryville Christian School places a high value on counseling our high school students through the academic and college planning process. Through individual and group counseling, students become aware of their talents and strengths, enabling them to use their God-given gifts to pursue their life's calling with confidence and maturity. It is our goal that students feel confident when selecting a college or university that best matches their personal and career goals.
To assist meeting this goal, the guidance department arranges for college admissions counselors to speak with students as well as arranging a college visit for juniors each semester of their junior year. In addition, parent meetings for grades 9, 11 and 12 are scheduled annually to provide parents with information on college readiness, college admissions and college financial aid.
