The small numbers in the MCS High School allows for individual attention when students are making college/career decisions. The door of the guidance office is always open to students and parents where a folder is maintained for each student containing standardized test and student interest inventory results. These results are used when counseling with students about college and career goals.
Each year college visits are arranged by the guidance department to expose students and parents to colleges holding Christian principles, and to assist students in making well thought-out choices when selecting the schools to which they will apply.
Financial aid materials are in the guidance office and are available to all parents. MCS hosts a financial aid meeting each fall in our school library. In addition, students and parents are encouraged to attend area college fairs.
